The Parish was established on August 16, 1985 and Founded by Rev. Francis E. Santitoro and the Church was dedicated on October 10, 1992. A Groundbreaking Ceremony took place on August 23, 1989 where Bishop Edward Kmiec (of Buffalo) was in attendance. The Church is built on a 22+ acre wooded site and adorned with over 20 beautiful stained glass windows of Jesus Christ, the Blessed Mother and various Saints and religious figures. The Parish was nicknamed “The Mustard Seed Parish”. Francis Gajowniczek, the man whom Saint Maximilian Kolbe changed places with at the Auschwitz concentration Death Camp, visited our Parish on January 8, 1995 and celebrated his 93rd birthday here.
Before the Church was built, Masses were celebrated in the Community Clubhouses. The Parish Hall was built first and Masses were then held there. The Parish Office was originally on the top floor of Quinn Hopping Funeral Home before Offices were built here.
