Welcome to the Saint Maximillian Kolbe Church family!  We are happy to have you here and look forward to meeting you in person.  It is our custom for all individuals to be registered as members of the Parish.

Why Register at our Parish?
Your Parish Needs You and You Need Your Parish!

By registering at a Parish, you are declaring your desire to be part of a Catholic faith community. If you have recently moved to the area or if you are a long-time resident, please consider registering at the Parish where you participate.  When in doubt, ask a priest after Mass.  In most cases, you will need to visit the Parish Office and fill out a simple form or register online.

Top Reasons to Register at our Parish

• A sense of belonging and identity in a Parish community.
• It is a commitment to practice your faith.
• Registration enables the Parish pastor and staff to get to know you better, to welcome you and to minister to you. This is especially important during a time of crisis so that the pastoral staff can attend to your spiritual needs and the needs of your family.
• Registration helps you stay connected with your Parish and helps your Parish stay connected with you. Providing your contact information is important so that Parishes provide you timely updates via email, direct mail, phone, etc.  Also, if you use offertory envelopes or online giving, you will also receive a year-end statement of your donations for income tax purposes.  Once you are registered, please notify the Parish Office of any changes in address or phone number.
• Registered active members are eligible for sponsor/godparent validation.
• Registered active members are sometimes eligible to rent Parish facilities.
• Census numbers may determine how many priests are assigned to a Parish and how many Masses and enrichment programs are planned and scheduled.

Please stop by the Parish Office to register during business hours Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Forms can be found in the Church, completed online or printed on this page.  If you complete online we will call to follow up so we can make an appointment to come in.  If you have a printed form please complete and bring or mail to the Rectory Office at 130 Saint Maximilian Lane, Toms River, New Jersey 08757.

Multiple intention and Individual Mass Cards are $10.00 each.  To purchase please come to the Parish Office during business hours Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Votive candles symbolize the prayers the worshipper is offering for him or herself, or for other people.  Votive candles are lit for prayer intentions.  To "light a candle for someone" indicates one's intention to say a prayer for another person, and the candle symbolizes that prayer.

You can lite a candle for the day yourself by depositing a donation in the box near the doors.  We also offer Vigil candles that can be labeled with a special intention to remember a loved one or someone who is sick or has passed away. 

To purchase candles please come to the Parish Office during business hours Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm for:

• Monthly candles are $10.00, has a label with the expiration date with the name requested.
• Yearly candles are $85.00, has a label with the expiration date with the name requested.
